Chicken Stir-Fry Recipe

Chicken Stir-Fry Recipe

I know this is by all means not a new recipe
but I decided to share it anyway :)

My husband, Marc, likes to make this dish
and it always comes out delicious.
We like to use dried red chili peppers
to add a little spice.. we like to say that the
chili peppers are the stars of this dish!

Let's get straight to the point.. the recipe!

Chicken Stir-Fry

 Ingredients for 4 servings:
Chicken Stir-Fry
3 large chicken breasts or (4 small breasts)

1 bag of stir-fry mix
(you can use fresh veggies or any stir-fry mix of your choice)

1 tablespoon of crushed red chili peppers

3 tablespoons of soy sauce
(sometimes we also use oyster sauce instead)

A pinch of black pepper

Olive oil or your choice of cooking oil

For the white rice you will need:
2 cups of white rice (or any rice of your choice)
Something to cook it in
I used a rice cooker :))

Red Chili Peppers (Arbol Chili Pods)

Step 1:
  • In a measuring cup or small bowl add soy sauce
  • Crush the red pepper and add 1 tablespoon to the soy sauce, mix well

Step 2:
  • Cut chicken in squares (I cut mine in small squares)
  • Add a pinch of black pepper to the chicken

Step 3:
  • Heat your medium to large pan and add olive oil or the cooking oil of your choice

Step 4:
  • After the olive oil has heated up add 2 tablespoons of the soy sauce mix and
let it saute for about 1 minute
  • Then add the chicken and in medium heat let it brown for a few minutes
  • Let the chicken cook (covered) for about 15 minutes in low heat
  • Once the chicken is almost cooked add the remaining 1 tablespoon
of the soy sauce mix and the stir-fry mix. Let it cook until all vegetables
are soft and chicken is fully cooked.

Step 5:
You are all done cooking
Serve and Enjoy!!

Thanks for Visiting
Enjoy :))
