Chalkboard Mason Jar

Mason Jars are great for numerous things
my collection is getting pretty big!
So I decided to use one for now.
Chalkboard paint has become very popular
and I know that it is easy to make
but this time I decided to wonder the paint isle at
my local craft store and
found Martha Stewart chalkboard paint.
Here is what I made:
A treat jar for Riley (my dog)

Chalkboard Paint
Brush (I used a foam one)
Duck Tape (I used tape for painting)

Another way to use chalkboard paint is on mugs
just like this mug my friend gave me
for Christmas last year
and I absolutely love it.

DIY Painted Vases

DIY Painted Vases
are easy, fun, and inexpensive to make.

I wanted to try my own painted vases, so I went to the dollar store
and purchased glass vases and
found some acrylic paint at Michaels.

I made two painted vases, one with orange acrylic paint and the other with
glitter acrylic paint.
They both came out great.

Glitter Acrylic Painted Vase

I didn't realize that when I painted these vases
I was doing it outside and it was a bit windy.
I got somewhat of a crackle effect on the plain acrylic painted vase
and a swirl effect on the glitter painted vase.

By the way this glittered vase
looks beautiful when its lighted up using a candle.

Halloween Decor

is the perfect excuse to decorate.
I love all the colors, lights, and decorations.

It's crazy to see how almost every store has had all the fall & Halloween decor out.
Its like every year we get ready earlier and earlier..
and well it really works.
I stopped at Marshalls and found the cutest
 Halloween decor.

Here are a couple of things I purchased
and I just have to say owls are everywhere!

While shopping at Marshalls, I came across these beautiful Martha Stewart
Halloween treat boxes for an amazing price.
I was able to find the pumpkin treat boxes and cauldron cello treat bags.

Here is a sneak peek at my next DIY
Painted Vases

Happy Monday
